Nov 18th

Anyone that might see this is welcome to stop by. If your 21 and over.

I'm still in Chicago and it's birthday time again. This year I'm actually having a birthday party. It will be at the Double Door in the Dirt Room. For those of you that don't know what this is, here we go.

On Sunday and Monday nights the upstairs portion of Double Door is closed. They open up the basement bar which has affectionately been dubbed the "Dirt Room". For more information as to why feel free to ask any employee there.

Sunday nights they are holding acoustic shows and Monday nights are for dj's. At this point both nights feature free pool and free admission. This might change with time so go now and get in the know.

As for my birthday proceedings...

I plan on going to the Blue Line Club Car for dinner around 8pm. The Blue Line is across the street from the Double Door on Damen Ave. Then after dinner it's time to go to the Double Door for dj's, free pool, $2 Bud Drafts and no cover.

If you can make it, make it. If you can't, then I won't see you.

Wow.

Greetings and Salutations one and all.

So it's been a long time since I actually updated this thing. A year and 6 days to be exact...

I figure I might as well start updating here just so I can get some things written and get the blood stirring again. It's been a long time since I updated the story blog as well and I'm hoping to get that running again too. I figure I have the time I just need to get the creative juices flowing again.

So I think I'll start writing on a more constant basis. Who knows what all it will be about but it'll still be a small look inside the complexities that reside inside my skull.

It could be anything... It could be about the douche bags that I see a lot or it could be about the jack ass that ran into me with a shopping cart at the store. Either way, it should be interesting.

A slight update to the story blog today. Check it out and read along.

The strange one is coming out of it's shell a little more.

Decision 06

Well, some of you might think this post is about the whole Decision '06 Election Ballots... Then again, if you know me, you know it's not.

Halloween was a pretty eventful holiday all this past weekend. Plenty of things were going on all weekend, all the way up to last night. Sadly, the devil never showed up and offered to buy my soul again.. or is that something you can only sell once?

Well, the decision as to whether or not to move to Vegas has been made. It took so long to make the decision that I decided not to go. There's a few factors involved that helped to keep me around. Family, friends, all the bullshit involved to actually move there, and work. Not that I didn't have work waiting for me out there but the work I have here.

So we'll see what the future holds. I'm getting some paperwork together for future endeavors.

Speaking of the future. I put together a "farewell" show at the Double Door for November 28th. Since it's no longer a farewell show it's now going to be a free admission, come get drunk show. Out of all the shows I've ever put together this had to be the hardest one yet. Since it's the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving a lot of the bands I asked to play had someone out of town or they had a show too close to the date to play mine. But I'm still happy with the line up that we have.

So check out these bands and make sure to mark it in your calendars so you can show up. Here's the line up.

Doors open at 8pm and the first band goes on at 9pm.

Calling All Destroyers

It should be a really good show and I hope everyone can make it.

If not... you suck.
