I'm still in Chicago and it's birthday time again. This year I'm actually having a birthday party. It will be at the Double Door in the Dirt Room. For those of you that don't know what this is, here we go.
On Sunday and Monday nights the upstairs portion of Double Door is closed. They open up the basement bar which has affectionately been dubbed the "Dirt Room". For more information as to why feel free to ask any employee there.
Sunday nights they are holding acoustic shows and Monday nights are for dj's. At this point both nights feature free pool and free admission. This might change with time so go now and get in the know.
As for my birthday proceedings...
I plan on going to the Blue Line Club Car for dinner around 8pm. The Blue Line is across the street from the Double Door on Damen Ave. Then after dinner it's time to go to the Double Door for dj's, free pool, $2 Bud Drafts and no cover.
If you can make it, make it. If you can't, then I won't see you.
